Public Voice Sub-Committee
The Patient Voice Sub-Committee supports OurHealthData’s mission to ensure health data systems are shaped by the people they serve. It brings together patients, families, caregivers, and communities to embed lived experience into policy, governance, and system design.
The OurHealthData Patient Voice Sub-Committee strengthens meaningful public participation in health data development, supports equity by elevating underserved voices, and builds trust through transparency, privacy, and collaboration.

Policy Sub-Committee
The Policy Sub-Committee supports OurHealthData’s mission by advancing equitable, ethical, and responsible access to health data. It provides informed, community-grounded input on health data policy, legislation, and governance to promote transparency, fairness, and public trust.
The Policy Sub-Committee focuses on strengthening health data access systems through evidence-informed recommendations, with its current priority centred on policy engagement related to Bill S-5 and its implications for health data access.
