Across Canada, there is growing momentum to rethink how health data is accessed, shared, and used, and Canadians have an important role to play in shaping that future.

OurHealthData is Canada’s first mass public movement for health data, bringing together patients, caregivers, families, communities, healthcare providers, researchers, and advocates around a shared vision of people-centred health data governance.

At OurHealthData, everyone who participates is considered a member of the public and a valued part of the movement. Together, we work to build a future where health data serves the public interest and reflects the voices, experiences, and priorities of the people it impacts.

At OurHealthData, everyone involved is considered a member of the public. As a member of the public, you will:

• Stay informed about consultations, events, and opportunities​
• Receive updates on OurHealthData initiatives and projects

We are currently accepting applications for the OurHealthData Steering Committee on a rolling basis.The Steering Committee meets biweekly on Fridays at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET and plays a key role in shaping the future of OurHealthData through:

• Setting long-term priorities
• Guiding growth strategy
• Building strategic partnerships
• Providing governance and oversight
• Supporting sustainability planning
